Portuondo Campsite is situated in Mundaka, in the Urdaibai district, a paradise declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1984. The Mundaka Estuary is known for being one of the most important wetlands on the Cantabrian Coast, with the greatest landscape and ecological diversity in the Basque Country.
